It’s almost 6 months since my big chop, and I’ve finally found a regimen that’s simple, cost effective, that keeps my hair CLEAN and smelling delicious.

Once a week I wash my hair with Meera herbal hairwash powder, it’s packed with great ingredients Shikakai, Hibiscus and Fenugreek (conditioning and cleansing indian herbs)

I have found that shampoo, whether sulfate free or not strips my hair. I mix my herbal powder with conditioner (Herbal Essence or Suave) and apply it generously  to my hair and scalp. I leave it on for about 15 mins and then rinse the lot out and apply obscene amounts conditioner (I’m currently using Suave Coconut) and detangle in the shower.

After detangling and rinsing I apply Lustrasilk Cholesterol w/ Shea Butter & Mango, and deep condition my hair for 15-30 min without heat. This gives me great curl definition.

I braid or twist my hair using the Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk and seal my ends with castor oil.

I rebraid/retwist my hair every 2-3 days, and co-wash midweek if necessary. I follow the exact same steps when I co-wash.

I cover my hair at night and just fluff it in the morning with a mixture of the curl & style milk and castor oil.

LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GUYS TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR!
